Culinary Herb Gardening

Learn how easy it is to grow your favorite herbs in a container.

Whether you’re interested in growing basil for pesto, cilantro for salsas or mint for summer iced tea, this workshop will teach you how to grow fresh kitchen herbs on your balcony or patio all season long! We’ll go over tips for planning your herb garden, including how to select the best varieties for your site.  You don't need a lot of space to grow these easy-care plants.  Join us in the park and learn how you can start spicing up your recipes with home-grown herbs.  Sponsored by the Seattle Parks Department.
