Garden Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for both beginning and intermediate gardeners to join our garden volunteer crew.

Work alongside Seattle Tilth staff and volunteers in our community learning gardens!

Each year garden volunteers grow hundreds of pounds of organic produce that we donate to local food banks, support our education program, and sustainably maintain our community learning gardens in North and South Seattle and in Issaquah.

Interested?
Please: 1. fill out a quick Volunteer Application
2. come to Volunteer Orientation and then attend a work party, schedule below!

The Good Shepherd Center Adult Community Learning Garden crew meets Monday mornings to do maintenance tasks throughout the winter (times will shift throughout the season). Contact Sue Hartman at suehartman@seattletilth.org if you are interested in joining the crew.

Currently the Issaquah garden crew meets on Tuesdays, 10-1 pm at the Pickering Barn learning garden in Issaquah (and occasional Saturdays). Drop in or contact Falaah for more info at falaahjones@seattletilth.org

Thanks for your interest - we look forward to seeing you in the garden!

You can also volunteer for a work party at the Rainier Beach Urban Farm & Wetlands in Southeast Seattle, or with Seattle Tilth Farm Works at the United People's Farm in Auburn.  Check out the schedule.
