Build professional and personal skills, meet people and contribute to the community while volunteering at Seattle Tilth. Interested? Follow these steps.

North Seattle - Wallingford, Seattle Youth Garden Works @ CUH

View the list of volunteer opportunities in our Community Learning Garden and Children's Garden at the Good Shepherd Center, in our office, and with Seattle Youth Garden Works in University Village. 

Southeast Seattle - Rainier Valley, Bradner Gardens Park

View the volunteer opportunities at our Pickering Barn Learning Garden, or participate in work for watershed conservation in Issaquah.

• Seattle Tilth Community Outreach Team
  Do outreach at community events and talk to interested people about Seattle Tilth's work, programs, opportunities, and ways to get involved.  Great for interns or people already familiar with the work we do.  Required training (date TBD), then get plugged in to the upcoming schedule of tabling opportunities.  Interested?  Contact chrisiberle@seattletilth.org
• Garden Mentor with the Just Garden Project
  Share your gardening skills with Just Garden Project participants and help build a just food system for all people. Help build gardens, educate, celebrate community, and train youth to take an active role in this transformation.
  

Can't make the next Volunteer Orientation, but want to get started working with us right away?  Try attending a drop-in work party!

  Every Saturday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
  
• Seattle Tilth Farm Works in Auburn
  Help support new farms that provide healthy foods to south King County! Volunteers are needed to prepare fields and trench irrigation to support farm incubator participants. Tools, gloves will be provided & fresh produce are available.
