- Volunteer at the Urban Farm Fling, the first farm to table dinner at Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetlands on Sunday July 27. Volunteer as a server, kitchen assistant, greeter and more. SIGN UP NOW!
- Volunteer at the Seattle Tilth Harvest Fair on Saturday Sept. 6.

COOKING AND NUTRITION
Community Kitchens Northwest (CKNW)
Help bring people together to cook and eat as a community. Participate in community dinners, lead after school cooking clubs, and assist with trainings for community partners. By sharing cooking skills, nutrition knowledge and food traditions, CKNW gives people the tools they need to eat well every day. For more information contact email@example.com.

Each year garden volunteers grow hundreds of pounds of organic produce that we donate to local food banks, support our education program, and sustainably maintain our community learning gardens in North and South Seattle.

Learn about organic food growing techniques while maintaining our farms and gardens. Work parties happen weekly in Wallingford, SE Seattle and Issaquah.
- Garden Steward

- Farm Steward at Seattle Tilth Farm Works (Auburn)
Seattle Tilth Farm Works provides farm business training to aspiring farmers in the Puget Sound region. Learn about and participate in field cultivation, harvesting, and distribution. 5-15 hours/week. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Good Food Bag Volunteer
Help make good food from local farmers more accessible in the community! Volunteers needed to pack, distribute, and accept EBT payments from members picking up Good Food Bags, a subsidized weekly bag of sustainable, fresh produce sourced from local farmers. - Children's Garden Volunteer Naturalists
Lead kids on Earth Steward sensory tours of the Children's Garden during weekdays, working with school groups and field trips in the garden. Learn about organic gardening and teaching while having loads of fun! Community Outreach Team
Join our outreach team, and get trained on all of the things Seattle Tilth does. Do outreach and tabling at community events and talk to interested people about Seattle Tilth's work, programs, opportunities, and ways to get involved. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Street Promotions Team
Help distribute postcards and posters for our events! Pick an area of your choice and ask permission from businesses. Visit libraries, rec centers, coffee shops, bars etc. Contact email@example.com.
- Events Support
Provide support to Seattle Tilth's events team for our Gala Auction by helping with item procurement and donor outreach, assisting with auction database, providing outreach to potential attendees, helping coordinate logistics, and coordinating with staff and volunteers to create a successful event. 5-10 hours/week.
