Help distribute postcards and posters for our programs and for the May Edible Plant Sales! Pick an area of your choice and ask permission from businesses to spread the word about growing & eating organic food with Seattle Tilth. Visit libraries, rec centers, coffee shops, bars etc. Contact lizaburke@seattletilth.org - Mentor with the Just Garden Project
Share your gardening skills with Just Garden Project participants and help build a just food system for all people. Help build gardens, educate, celebrate community, and train youth to take an active role in this transformation. Mentors help expand the local food system and build gardening knowledge through community involvement, throughout the 2012 growing season, committing about 1-2 hours/week. Volunteers are needed to prepare fields and trench irrigation to support farm incubator participants. Tools, gloves will be provided & fresh produce are available. - Pickering Barn Learning Garden in Issaquah

We can also schedule groups of volunteers from businesses, companies, professional organizations, clubs, universities and schools to many of our gardens or farms for days of service, work parties, team-building, and more. Contact chrisiberle@seattletilth.org to get started.
