Garden Opportunities

  • Children's Garden Volunteers
    Lead kids on Earth Steward sensory tours of the children's garden as a Volunteer Naturalist. Learn about organic gardening and teaching while having loads of fun.
  • Seattle Youth Garden Works
    Support this program, empowering homeless and underserved youth through garden-based education and employment, by volunteering at our market garden at the Center for Urban Horticulture in the University District.  Work parties and projects available, contact robertservine@seattletilth.org for the current schedule - or read on!

Events

  • SYGW Auction Committee Member
    Provide support to Seattle Tilth’s Seattle Youth Garden Works (SYGW) Auction planning team by coordinating item procurement & donor outreach, managing an auction database, support outreach to potential attendees, help coordinate logistics of the event (catering, décor, etc.), and work with other staff and volunteers to create a successful event on October 22, 2012.  Must be available for some evening meetings.  Contact chrisiberle@seattletilth.org

Marketing & Outreach

  • Street Promotions Team
    Help distribute postcards and posters for our programs! Pick an area of your choice and ask permission from businesses. Visit libraries, rec centers, coffee shops, bars etc. Contact lizaburke@seattletilth.org
