What are the essential tools for vegetable gardening? Beyond the basics, what are some useful additional tools? Learn what you'll need and how to choose quality tools in this interactive workshop. Then, learn how to maintain and sharpen your tools for best use.

Taught by Tilth newsletter editor Bill Thorness, the class includes cleaning, sanding, oiling and sharpening of your tools. Bring up to 3 tools (shovel, hoe, pruners, shears), plus a mill bastard file (if available) and leather gloves.

Cost: $25 for Tilth members, $35 non-members.  Advance registration and payment is required.
