Learn what it takes to keep miniature goats for fun, food or fiber. This class will introduce you to the basics of mini-goat keeping, including city regulations, miniature breeds, yard and shelter requirements, feeding, breeding & babies, milking and keeping your herd healthy. In this lecture-based class, you will gain all the information you need to keep your mini-goats happy and producing well in a city backyard and be ready to get started as an urban goat-herder. 

COST: $40 or $30 for Seattle Tilth members.  Advance registration and payment are required.

You have 3 options to register for this class:

  • PHONE. Call Brown Paper Tickets: (800) 838-3006. 
  • MAIL. Download and print a registration form and mail it to us with your payment. Confirmations will be e-mailed.  
  • To register your friend for free, purchase a ticket for yourself then send a brief email to register@seattletilth.org with the following information: Friends full name, email, phone number and zip code. Confirmations will be emailed.
