The Comprehensive Organic Gardener is Seattle Tilth’s most extensive organic vegetable gardening course. It is designed to give urban gardeners a complete introduction to the dynamic world of organic gardening and an opportunity to meet a growing community of fellow edible gardening enthusiasts. This intensive program presents both scientific and practical information and emphasizes an experiential learning approach that is firmly rooted in hands-on opportunities. Participants will leave fully equipped to take several next steps in producing food for themselves and their families and will have a richer understanding of how to manage an organic vegetable garden successfully and productively.
Schedule for this 3 week course:
Evening lectures on Wednesdays, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16 and 3/23, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Weekend hands-on classes on Saturdays, 3/5, 3/12 and 3/19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost: $275, $235 for Seattle Tilth members
