Learn how to get your organic veggie garden ready for spring and summer crops. Participants will prepare garden beds for planting, learn how to amend the soil and determine whether or not it is ready to cultivate. We will cover seed sowing methods and how to use season extension tools such as cloches and cold frames. You will leave prepared to get your garden started for a season of productive gardening! This class will be outdoors with hands-on activities. Please dress for the weather and messy garden soil.
COST
$36 individuals, $25 Seattle Tilth members, $54 Household price for two adults. Advance registration and payment are required.
