Learn different techniques for taking out that old, boring sod and putting in your new garden beds.  This class will cover the tools and materials needed to either dig out the sod or sheet mulch over existing lawn.  You will also learn what veggies you can plant now to fill your salad bowl later this spring.

The class will be held at a private residence a few blocks from the Seattle Tilth Demonstration Garden in Wallingford in order to show you a real lawn to lettuce transformation.  The exact address will be provided with your emailed confirmation after registration. The class will be held outside, rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.

Cost: $25 for Tilth members or $35 for non-Tilth members. Pre-registration is required.
