This outdoor, hands-on class will show you how easy it can be to create rich compost from yard and food waste. One of the most important materials for organic vegetable gardening, compost will bring to life and improve any type of garden soil. You’ll learn how to compost both food and yard waste successfully, determine what systems work best for you and find additional free sources of compostable material in our community. We will be building a hot compost pile in class--so dress for messy mateirals and get ready to rot!
