Edible plants might start in the vegetable garden but they needn’t end there! Long-lived perennial plants that are edible give you more plant choices, food variety, structure and can be less work over time than your vegetable garden. Utilize your entire garden or yard with a wide array of edible perennial plants that feed people and wildlife, too. You will leave with expanded knowledge of common and unusual fruits, nuts and perennial vegetables including self-sowing salad patches, tasty tubers, native edibles like salal and elderberry and even a dogwood with delicious fruit! This class will include a slide show presentation, tour of edible plants in the landscape and a few tasty samples.
COST:
