Learn the basics of healthy fruit tree pruning hands-on! We will cover how, when, and where to thin branches, remove deadwood, and deal with water shoots. We will also discuss how pruning can increase fruit production and sculpt your trees for health, beauty and long life. Whether you’re starting a young tree or fixing old pruning errors, this class will help you guide your fruit trees into graceful, healthy, fruit laden works of art. This class will include a significant hands-on component; feel free to bring pruning tools from home. We may be outside for this entire workshop -- please dress for the weather!
