Learn how to save the seeds that naturally develop on your vegetable plants so you can grow your favorite food crops from year to year. We will discuss how to choose varieties for seed saving, hand-pollination techniques and isolation requirements. In this lecture-style class with hands-on activities, we’ll show you how to harvest seed using the dry or wet method and ways to safely store your garden’s heritage for next year. Once you start the rewarding practice of saving seeds, you’ll soon have enough seeds to share with friends and family!
