Come learn about the benefits of orchard mason bees and other native pollinators. Find out why you might want to get started keeping mason bees to boost pollination for your garden and fruit trees!

We will discuss basic bee biology and how mason bees differ from honeybees. You will learn all about bee culture, what attracts mason bees, rustic habitats and responsible bee box management. You will enjoy a show-and-tell for different types of bee boxes. Other topics include guarding against diseases, parasites and predators, and  gardening practices that promote healthy bee populations.

$36 individuals, $25 Seattle Tilth members, $54 Household price for two adults.  Advance registration and payment are required.
