Learn what it takes to keep miniature goats for fun, food or fiber. This class will introduce you to the basics of mini-goat keeping, including city regulations, miniature breeds, yard and shelter requirements, feeding, breeding and babies, milking and keeping your herd healthy. In this lecture-based class, you will gain all the information you need to get started as an urban goat-herder and keep your mini-goats happy and producing well in a city backyard.
COST
$40 individuals, $30 Seattle Tilth members, $60 Household price for two adults. Advance registration and payment are required.
