They are virtually silent, grow wooly fiber that can be spun and knitted into clothing, turn garden trimmings into the best fertilizer, can be harvested for meat and pelts, and make wonderful pets! Learn all the basics on how to properly care for a backyard rabbit in this class. We will discuss housing, feeding, handling and choosing breeds for specific purposes. Discover what products can be harvested from these wonderful animals and best practices for harvest. Meet some heritage breed American Chinchillas and Satin Angora Fiber rabbits!

$36 individuals, $25 Seattle Tilth members, $54 Household price for two adults. Advance registration and payment are required.
