Free Classes for Apartment Dwellers on Composting and Growing Veggies and Herbs
Take a class in a city park! We will teach apartment and condo dwellers how to grow vegetables and herbs in containers and how to compost food waste indoors or on balconies or patios. Seattle Tilth garden experts will show you how to grow your own food organically and reduce waste - even if you don’t have a yard or garden plot.
Come to the Kickoff Event on Sunday, May 13, at Victor Steinbreuck Park (by Pike Place Market), 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Stop by the park and build a portable salad garden and chat with folks from Seattle Tilth, Urban Land Army, The Garden Hotline
and Master Composters.
