Goat or Chicken Hut - up for auction at Harvest Fair

Stop by the Heifer International booth in the Urban Livestock Zone and check out this hut. It's up for auction at the Fair!

The hut is an example of the zero-grazing goat huts used in many of Heifer International projects around the world.  The environmental benefits of the hut are extremely important, as the animals are not over-grazing or causing erosion.  And the animals are protected from theft & disease, taken out daily for exercise & collection of manure for fertilizer is simple.  This compact hut would be the perfect urban home for a backyard goat or chickens.

There will be a silent auction open to fair-goers on Saturday only, ending at 5pm when the fair closes.  The hut will then be disassembled by our crew that delivered to the home of the winner.  The winner must be home that evening to accept delivery and live in King or Snohomish County & this is delivery only, not set-up.
