Hot Tips for Happy Shopping

  • Bring Carriers.
Wagons, boxes, plant flats and friends are helpful to help you carry your plants. We will also be renting plant flats.
  • Dress Warmly.
Although the sale is indoors and protected from the rain, it’s pretty chilly in Hangar 30.
  • Get a Bracelet.
Timed entry will keep the entrance flowing smoothly. Beginning at 8 a.m., you can get an appointed time of entry when you pick up a color-coded wristband at the entrance at the south side of the Hangar 30. This will help us avoid exceeding the capacity of the space.
  • Learn More.
Look for plant info on signs, or ask a plant seller. If you have any questions, ask the garden educators at the Seattle Tilth booth. See the schedule of   gardening talks below.
  • Chow down.
Tasty food is being provided by Patty Pan Grill and Mighty O Donuts.
  • Stock Up.
Buy a copy of the Maritime NW Garden Guide, seeds, supplies and the Seattle Tilth booth. Cedar Grove compost and potting soil will be available for $5/bag - you can pay at check-out and pick-up your bags at the Loading Zone.
  • Pick up at the Loading Zone.
After paying for your plants at check-out, you may leave your plants at the Loading Zone behind Hangar 30 (north end).

For people who want to shop early with the best selection, come to the Pre-Sale on Friday, March 19 from 5:30-7 p.m.  A limited number of tickets are available  for $25; all proceeds benefit Seattle Tilth's educational programs.
